Cmon give eberle some credit. That wasn't a fortunate bounce or luck, that was great hand-eye coordination. |

Agreed, and wasn't Clowe's goal a fortunate "mis-handle" by Dubnyk? Or Vandermeer's softy long shot? |

-200 to take Sharks tonight. How is that team such a big favorite? They are one and done in the playoffs if they make it. Panthers basically in a similar situation. |

I'm not sure who to root for Thursday - San Jose or Dallas - The Kings don't play Dallas anymore but they play the Sharks 3 times. Could the Kings possibly eliminate the Sharks from the playoffs? Sharks vs Phoenix, too? Wow! What a week of hockey!
This is gonna be a wild, wild finish. |

Personally I thought the game was a little sloppy but liked that the refs put the whistles away...until they called 1 then it felt liked they just wanted to keep it even.
I cannot find Horc's trip and the high stick was as much an acting job. |

If Marleau were still captain, there would be no end to the amount of criticism he would be receiving right now. All of the team's struggles would be placed squarely on his shoulders. But now that he has been stripped of it, the captaincy all of a sudden becomes merely a formality with no bearing on the team's performance.
Once again, Joe Thornton is getting a free pass. |

Absolutely pathetic game! Do these guys want to skate? CLowe was one of the slowest guy's i've ever seen ... and he doesn't even throw the big hits anymore. These guys need to get off their tampons, and start hitting and actually put some intimidation into the sport. Softest team and too bad because we have all the size in the world! |

Dan Boyle was trying to be a short stop instead of a hockey player, and it bounced off his chest right to Eberle's stick. How is that not a lucky bounce?
Great hand eye yes, but also lucky bounce. |

He has been our best player all year. He's doing what he's supposed to do on the ice, what more do you want? |

Agreed. The only 2 guys on the team who would actually use their speed and hit were Andrew Murray and Jamie McGinn.
Murray got buried in the AHL for who knows what reason, and we traded away McGinn.

Bury White, put Vandermeer back on the blue line, bump up Galiardi to the third line with winnik and moore, bring back Fereiro and let him accept some passes from the turtle that is Handzus alongside mitchell.
Marleau - Thornton - Pavelski
Clowe - Couture - Wingles
Galiardi - Moore - Winnik
Ferrairo - Handzus - Mitchell |

It's getting more and more interesting by the day.
St Louis, Vancouver, Detroit, Nashville are all pretty much in. Columbus and Edmonton have been out for all or most of the season. Minnesota is dead fish in the water (remember less than 3 months ago they were leading the league! - amazing). I don't care what people say, the Ducks aren't going to make it either (see New Jersey of last year). That leaves 4 spots available for 7 competeing teams.
This upcoming 4 game road trip could very well make or break the Sharks season. |

It's not really about what I want. It's more that I think Thornton is getting preferential treatment as our captain and I don't know why. |

Going into this season they were the league's best road team since the lockout. You're right though they've been terrible on the road this season. |

Looking at the Sharks right now and how they have played over the last 15 games or so......FIRE EVERYONE
I lost it when the goalie coach was being interviewed and he said "I'm just here to make sure they feel good" What type of answer is that. I want the coaches to light a fire under their butts and get rolling. Hugs cookies and cotten candy won't win a hockey game.
Doug Wilson has collected a team that has tons of tallent and potential along with no heart to win. The entire team looks lost. Wilson you had a great time now step aside and let someone else build the team.
T-mac..ok you got clubbed over the head so the explains a little bit but really, how can you this team play the way they have without busting some skulls. Bench someone to make an example of them, take a play from bobby knight and throw a chair or choke pickels for a bit. So close to being fired in my book.
Niemi.....You are on one short short leash with me. Your play has been average at best. If you could recover quickly after making a save that created a rebound in a bad spot then you would be upgraded to a hair above average.
I'm so frustrated watching this team right now, the Thorton and Marleau era feels totally done right now.
Now I have vented and would love for me to be flat out wrong but I would place money on the Sharks not making the playoffs if I were a betting man. |

Luck or skill..both are great to have. That was pretty awesome to see, too bad it was against the Sharks and hey you scored on Niemi...that in itself isn't something to get too excited about. |
